Though... if I were Aion, I wouldn't beat up Chrno. I'm too laid-back to really want to kill people (most of the time).
Then I thought of a laid-back Aion, and this lead me to...

~Aion and Chrno sitting on the floor in full-demon form passing a bong back and forth-- Aion staring in that vacant, stoned way off into space; Chrno giggling like the fiend that he is and mowing down a bag of Cheetos in a spasm of pot-induced munchies.~

And then I also thought that if I were Aion, Aion/Chrno slash fanfics would be an OK thing...

and then I decided that I needed to go find said fanfics and laugh at them!
