You know, I can respect that opinion.
However, I can't respect the fact that a) even though you don't like the pairing, you clicked the link that brought you over here, and b) then decided that it was prefectly kosher to leave nothing except a negative comment-- one not even about the icons in question, but about the subject matter, which is a matter of personal taste and which, clearly, I do like.

What exactly is that one-line comment suppose to prove/do? Change my mind? Make me suddenly see the light and cry out, "Oh, my god, I've been adoring this pairing ever since mid-spring of '04, but now I see that I was foolishly misguided!"?

Hell, I fucking convert other people to this pairing; no one's changing my mind about how I feel on this one.

Maybe you just thought to express your own pointless opinion. That's great, however, I fail to see why the fuck you needed to do it in my journal. I don't care what your opinion is about this pairing, to be honest, and it's rude to express it here (here, of all places!) like you are simply doing it to piss me off.
That's childish, and, to be honest again, I shouldn't even be giving you this much attention in a response, as you are not worth it. However, I'm not going let this opportunity for teaching a little 'netiquette slip.

To prove my point: I don't care for the pairing either. Lyko knows this, is aware of it, and doesn't EXPECT other people to like it, either. However, she DOES expect people to exercise some common sense, and not go splooging about it all over the goddamned place.

The first is WANK, plain and simple. I'm posting icons, I'm not asking for commentary that says NOTHING about the icons I post. Don't come onto my icon journal just to wank about whatever. Don't ask me questions like: Am I the only person who doesn't like Roy/Ed? or Why is everyone posting yaoi icons recently? I don't care. Go find a comm and talk about it there. You have nothing to say about the icons? Don't comment. As simple as that. If you want to flame me ABOUT the icons, mentioning the icons and telling me exactly what you think of the icons, go right ahead! I love a good flame war. I'm very mean, and I have lots of minions friends who love to jump into the fray.

News flash, my dear:

1) the world doesn't revolve around you. No one cares what you think. You have an opinion? Brilliant, post it on your own journal.

2) If you're going to bash someone else's pairing, don't do it to their face. This is common sense. Would you go up to someone in real life and tell them their choice of career sucks and they should really be doing XYZ instead?

3) If you come over onto someone else's and start being wanky and unreasonable...well, you've gotten a slight taste of what happens to people who act like that. Is it fun?
