Go through the cast list and copy the name of your favorite character. Go through the list of quotes and copy your favorite. Post the name of the show, both answers, and these directions. Finally, tag 4 people to post their results in their journals.

My fic is... Well, it's going. I'm really torn between forcing what I want on the damned stubborn thing, multichaptering it, or just giving up and letting it be ridiculous amounts of fluff as encouraged by this particular Stu song.
(More people must get to know Stuart Davis, dammit. Go here and snag the free stuff he has availible. "Sexy Messiah," "Swim," and "Savoring Samsara" are all particular favorites of mine.)

It's ungodly fucking hot and this makes me unhappy.

This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Okay, here's something I know about all the IRL people but not the online: What food(s) will you absolutely not eat?

Almost all cooked vegetables, exceptions being bean sprouts, pea pods, some carrot dishes, potatoes, corn. I won't touch tomatoes unless they have been smashed up into ketchup or marinara sauce. I'm not very fond of mushrooms, either.
On a completely different level, I am working hard to avoid beef, soda/pop, and fast food, because it's all junk and I don't need it. Most of that really doesn't phase me that much anyway; I think I miss the burgers and steaks the most, but since I can't really afford it anyway... Meh.

Actually, that's a lot of why I cut it out, too. That and the fact that the cattle ranching industry is one of the most horrible things on the planet.

Something I should really know about you? Where were you born/grew up?

Hazelton, Pennslyvania until sixth grade, and then I moved up along the New York border... about an hour south of Corning, NY, where they make Corelle glassware.
I moved to Wisconsin for college, and then moved here last year after I graduated.

...What be the Jess' favorite color?

Jess likes almost all colors, particularly bright ones. Fire engine red, poppy orange, saffron, lime or emerald green... all lovely. One might note from my layout that I also love horribly bright colors in contrast to one another...

Do you have any brothers or sisters and are you close to them and/or your parents? (Sorry this took me so long to comment on)

I have one brother-- blonde-haired and blue-eyed darling he is-- who is eight years old and is named Zane. I helped raise him for his first three years, and then I left PA to go to college in WI, and so no, we aren't particularly close.
My mom has all the common sense of a 15-16 year old high school girl, and sometimes most of the time, she annoys the hell out of me for her petty shallowness and lack of responsiblility. I dealt with her when I lived with her, but it was absolutely no heartbreak for me to leave and go to college.
I don't know my father; never have.
I was raised by my grandparents, whom I love very much, but I wish they would start viewing me as an adult instead of constantly treating me like I'm 9. -_-;;;

Well... I'm almost sorry I asked now :(

Sounds like our moms would get along great... I also helped raise my youngest sister, Emily, but we're still pretty close. The farthest I've lived away from home is a hundred miles (far enough to ignore my mom most of the time and close enough to come check in on my sisters on a regular basis). My parents divorced when I was 12. Dad wasn't around all that much before then or after then, but I've always liked him cuz he's a saint in comparison to my mother. I see him once every few months, most of the time. I was very close to my grandma, but she died a few years ago. The only other person I ever see in my family is my aunt, who likes to tell me how fat I am and how I'm ruining my life, but it's "because she cares about me". :/

Isn't family great?

Don't be sorry. I don't mind talking about it; I'm my own person, and my ties to my family aren't particularly strong, so I don't really care about much concerning them any more, provided that it doesn't affect me. I grew out of that strong, and I'm happy for the way I turned out, and my roots don't drag me down or anything like that, so... *shrugs* I've made my own family out of my friends, and that means more to me than anything in blood.

My great-grandmother was a lot like your aunt. *nodnod* And then I've got an assortment of uncles and cousins that all have varying levels of psycho-drama associated with them

Family is grand. [/ saracasm]
