Went to Randy's for the weekend. Since we'd both been sick, we hadn't even really seen each other in over a week, and hadn't spent time together in about two, so it was nice to be over there.

(Although when I do spend time at his place, I virtually fall off the earth. I don't check email or LJ, rarely answer the phone, etc.)

So, I'm back. I bet I was missed.

Yeah. It was just the flu, and it wasn't actually all that bad (it could have been WAY worse; I had nearly no fever, no muscle pain, no headaches, and I was fairly clearheaded the whole time)...but just the same, I didn't figure you wanted to listen to me hack and cough and sneeze and snot all over the place.
I'm still a little sniffly and cough a bit, but I doubt I'm contagious and even that'll probably be done by Saturday.

Seven's good. I have to verify with Randy, but he usually doesn't work weekends unless he's got an event, and I don't think he does. Which is great, 'cause Randy'll pick me up and we'll entertain each other and then meet up with you. :D Good?

Sooooooounds good. :) Which Perkins are you partial to? The Midway one is easiest for me, but it just depends on how far Randy's willing to drive. It's not too far away from the Mall. I'd say a 15-20 minute drive. Plus it's LOL Midway, which is always good for a laugh.

Sounds like a plan then. Just warn Randy that people in Midway drive like drunk monkeys. There's just something about the intersection of University and Snelling that makes people lose adequate motor control. XD

Also, I told my friend Kellee that you were staying in our hotel room for Detour (since you said you were interested before). So far it's 4 of us, but there will probably be more. It shouldn't be that expensive.

Randy pretty much always thinks other people drive like drunk monkeys; he's got some serious road rage.
But thanks for the warning. :D I'll let him know to expect dumber than usual road-company.

Oh! I totally forgot about the hotel room...but god bless you, 'cause that'll make life WAY easier for the weekend. (Oh my god, I'm going to have so much fun/get into so much trouble...)
