Anyways, I stumbled by your LJ name on the EnvyEd community and got very giddy and excited because I found the author of my favorite Envy/Ed fanfic! ^__^
I absolutely fucking love "Quintessence of Dusk" and it is the first yaoi fic to ever actually turn me on ( I mostly read yuris. ^__^ ). I ... don't know what that says about my subconcious ( My friends worried about me. :x ) but your fic was just so ... Envy and Ed. That fic epitomizes my perspective on the whole Envy/Ed pairing; I've always seen Envy as a sort of hateful, merciless, sly villian who detests Edward and yet at the same time, lusts after him. Hotness. And when he turned into Hughes? Oh my God, that was really something. o_o Just absolutely sadistic and cold, but MAN, did it work for the fanfic. ingenious. And I liked how Ed wasn't a completely helpless uke, unlike many yaoi fics out there. His ambitious and straightfoward personality just doesn't fit the uber-passive, girlie uke persona. I just LOVE the characterization in the fanfic. Perfection, babe. Utter perfection.
