Or how about the fact that I am more competent at my job than my department manager is at my job but the store managers hate me? I work seven hours next week. That's it. One day.
I'm about to spend 16 fucking hours in a car with Tom driving to the middle of nowhere Illinois to spend two days with nothing to do but hang with Tom. I must be insane for that one.
My one roommate wants to get me on E so she can laugh at me and the other one is counting on me to be her "mom" and keep a weather-eye on her in her new relationship.
We have no groceries; the place is a mess; I want to play Jinya's stupid Wii-version of DDR but I'm way too tired from playing it hard the last few days.

It was Tom's ex-roommate-- the terrifying and aggressively straight-forward ex-body-building pot-dealer-- who mainly sparked this one though. She came in to my work specifically to find me yesterday. Twice.
What the hell. I didn't see that coming. That woman almost never even leaves her house.
And it occurs to me that most people don't have to worry about things like this happening to them. Or at least that's what I'm told; I have to take everyone elses' word for it. I think my life is stranger than average. I don't understand why that is, only that it is probably true.
